Corporal Patrick Daniel “Pat” Tillman Jr. (November 6, 1976 – April 22, 2004) was an American football player who left his professional career and enlisted in the United States Army in June 2002 in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks. He joined the Army Rangers and served several tours in combat before he died in the mountains of Afghanistan. The Army at first reported that Tillman had been killed by enemy fire, and Lieutenant General Stanley A. McChrystal approved the award of a Silver Star. The actual cause of Tillman’s death was later ruled by the Pentagon as friendly fire.
Seems that the US Military needed a good looking heroic figure to polish the image of the war against terror and they manufactured one out of Pat Tillman. Then two years later, it seems the mormon church needed a good looking heroic figure to polish the image of proxy temple work, and they manufactured one out of Pat Tillman. I’m sure his family wouldn’t mind any more than they did when the Army used him.

This is just truly one of the most disrespectful things, besides baptizing all the Holocaust victims, I’ve seen this church do.

He was an athiest. Leave him alone!
Be gentle with a mans beliefs; his mind was created for his own thoughts; not yours or mine.

You mean more disrespectful than baptizing the Pope?
