Chuck Connors

Nov 22, 12:34 PM

Chuck Connors (April 10, 1921 – November 10, 1992) was an American actor and a professional basketball and baseball player, best known for his starring role in the 1950s ABC hit western series The Rifleman.

Chuck Connors was probably the coolest person on the planet for any kid growing up in the 60s. He was The Rifleman, fercryinoutloud. It doesn’t get any better than that. So we understand the vanity that is the cause of someone wanting to be baptized for him. We don’t understand, however, is why only one of his three wives and none of his 4 sons have been baptized. You know, because temple work is about family, right?

  1. All 4 of his sons are still alive. They would have to be baptized into the mormon church themselves.

  2. The baptism doesn’t mean that Chuck was a Mormon. It means that he is in the family line of someone doing family history work. Vanity has nothing to do with it.
